My story so far

I started Rogue back in 2017 in my tiny one-bedroom flat in Manchester.

In 2018, I entered my Sicilian Bronte Pistachio Ice Cream in the prestigious Great Taste Awards where it was awarded the highest rating, 3 GOLD STARS, as well as finishing in the top 17 out of 12,634 products entered by winning the Golden Fork for the north of England award.

In 2021, I outgrew my small kitchen space at the Makers Quarter in Salford and moved into a larger unit on a dairy farm in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, where I still churn the cold stuff today.

I also work as an ice cream consultant and have worked with clients in the US, Canada, India, UK, Australia, South Africa, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

Before starting Rogue, I worked as an English teacher in Kuwait, Japan, South Korea, Portugal, Spain, and Cameroon. Whilst in South Korea in 2011, I started a blog called icecreamscience.com where I still publish all of my ice cream related research.

I think that’s about it so far.
